Direct Action MSOT
The Direct Action MSOT conducts focused raids, assaults, and other time-sensitive missions. Its CSOs work in disciplined teams where communication, timing, and control decide the outcome.

Reconnaissance / Sniper MSOT
The Reconnaissance/Sniper MSOT develops the picture Task Force Command needs. It observes, reports, and creates opportunities for the rest of the force to act with purpose.
Demands patience, fieldcraft, precise reporting, and restraint.
Security MSOT
The Security MSOT protects personnel, positions, and movement across the theater. It holds key terrain and gives the command freedom to continue the campaign.
Demands awareness, consistency, and the ability to act without losing control.
SARC
Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsmen train and operate with their MSOTs. They provide advanced medical capability at the point where the team needs it most.
Demands medical judgment, tactical competence, and calm under pressure.
VMM-364 "Purple Foxes"
VMM-364 provides tiltrotor insertion, extraction, resupply, and movement across the theater. Aircrews plan with the ground force and carry responsibility for the mission from lift to recovery.
Pilots enter through the officer track. Precision and preparation are expected.
160th SOAR(A)
The 160th provides rotary-wing special operations aviation. Its crews conduct demanding insertions, extractions, and support missions in close coordination with the ground force.
Pilots begin as Warrant Officers and progress through demonstrated service.
1st Marine Raider Support Battalion
Raider Support provides the logistics, communications, intelligence support, and mission preparation that keep the command operating. Its work determines what the force can accomplish and how long it can remain effective.
Demands foresight, organization, and an understanding of the entire command.
Task Force Command
Task Force Command sets campaign objectives, coordinates the elements, and carries responsibility for the decisions that shape the theater. Experienced command officers are a current recruiting priority.
Demands leadership experience, preparation, sound judgment, and accountability.
Game Masters
Game Masters work with Task Force Command to create missions, control the theater, and preserve campaign continuity. Candidates may be asked to demonstrate their ability by building and running a mission.
Demands mission design experience, technical command of Reforger, and disciplined storytelling.
CIA Liaison Element
The CIA Liaison Element supports intelligence-driven operations and the campaign environment. SOC is seeking an experienced SIS-1 candidate. Additional agent opportunities are highly selective.
Demands discretion, initiative, and proven effectiveness inside a team.
The role determines the path.
Enlisted and officer service carry different responsibilities inside the same command. Most CSOs and support personnel serve through the enlisted path. Officers lead. Aviation pilots enter through the officer track and begin as Warrant Officers.
