Do I need previous Arma or milsim experience?
No. Be prepared to learn, communicate, and complete the required training. Mature, teachable applicants are welcome.
Can experience waive training?
No. Everyone completes Fundamentals Course and the training required for their pathway, including experienced pilot and leadership applicants.
Do I have to become a Marine Raider?
No. Marine Raider Support, SARC, aviation, and CIA offer other ways to serve. Support and aircrew are continuing career choices.
What is the attendance requirement?
Maintain at least 75% attendance across scheduled training and operations, measured on a rolling basis. Be on time for briefings and communicate absences.
When are operations?
Typically Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Briefing begins at 8:30 p.m. Central Time and step-off is promptly at 9:00 p.m. Times follow Central local time, including daylight saving changes.
Can I join during deployment?
Yes. Training and placement depend on your pathway and the calendar. Raider candidates awaiting selection can qualify and deploy with MRSB after the preparation required for their duties.
Can I choose my pathway?
Indicate your preferred pathway on your application. Your interview covers interests, availability, suitability, and current openings.
Who can apply?
Applicants must be at least 18, own Arma Reforger on PC or Xbox, and have a working microphone. Consistent participation and respect for the chain of command are required.
Is this a roleplay server?
No. Special Operations Command is a milsim community. Rank defines leadership and accountability, and training and operations require focus, realistic communication, and teamwork.
